For a person who likes trends and brands, Hermes is like the letter A from the fashion alphabet, being worldwide known for its collections dedicated to both women and men, from purses, to jewelry, fragrances and watches. All items introduced on the market by Hermes have a strong sense of fashion, approaching only modern and sophisticated design themes, whose main feature is originality.
Hermes represents a high fashion brand established in 1837 in Paris. The real name of the brand is Hermes International, a name that ended up simply as Hermes. Like all big names in fashion, Hermes has too its celebrities as ambassadors of the brand. Amongst the big names promoting this brand we can include: Paris Hilton, Nicole Kidman and even Madonna.
The purpose of this brand was to create ready-to-wear accessories for women and ever since its early starts back in 1837, the brand has developed rapidly in what today is referred as the Hermes Empire. The watches promoted by Hermes display unique design features meant to capture the trends of our time. A watch should be in Hermes’ vision a useful accessory characterized by accessibility and modernity, a watch that should be both sophisticated and wearable, elegant, but practical. The new watch presented by Hermés goes by the name of Hermés Clipper Chrono Maxi watch and it’s an attractive timepiece designed especially for women.
The new Hermés Clipper Chrono Maxi watch provides a simple design, with matching dial and strap, and with easy to read functions. The case of the watch measures only 32 mm in diameter and it is surrounded by a bezel equipped with Arabic numeral indications. The color theme of the dial was chosen as to recreate a playful and joyful aspect, for those who are not afraid of fashion and color. The dial is brownish-red and matches the rubber bracelet of the watch. The dial uses Arabic numerals for the hour markers, at every position except from those covered by the sub-dials. There are three white sub-dials equipping this watch and indicating the functions of the chronograph, along with a window date present at 4 o’clock. The hands are on-centered and luminescent coated as to provide the best visibility in any condition.
Although la piece de resistance of this watch is its sporty and contemporary design, the inner working is no less important. The designers from Hermés have chosen to use a mechanical self-wining chronograph movement that offers reliability and precision and also, an impressive water resistance of up to 200 meters.
